How do I order Rest & Ritual Baking cookies?
Cookies are available through scheduled preorders. Visit our Preorder page to view current flavors, available quantities, ordering deadlines, and fulfillment options.
Choose your cookies and select scheduled local delivery or Virginia shipping at checkout.
Are cookies available every day?
No. Rest & Ritual follows a weekly preorder and baking schedule.
Orders placed by Wednesday are generally included in the upcoming Saturday bake. Orders received after the weekly deadline will be scheduled for the following week.
Because we bake in small batches, ordering early is encouraged. Preorders may close before Wednesday if the week’s available quantities sell out.
When will I receive my cookies?
Cookies are baked fresh on Saturdays.
Local deliveries are generally scheduled within one to two days after baking, typically on Sunday or Monday. Your delivery date and estimated window will be included in your order confirmation.
Orders being shipped within Virginia are prepared for shipment after the Saturday bake and generally given to the carrier on the next available business day. Carrier delivery times vary and are not guaranteed.
Do you accept last-minute orders?
Last-minute availability is not guaranteed. Please order as early as possible, especially when ordering larger quantities or planning for a celebration, workplace event, or special occasion.
Orders placed after Wednesday will generally be scheduled for the following week unless other arrangements have been confirmed in advance.
When is payment due?
Payment is required to confirm your order. An order is not reserved until payment has been received and an order confirmation has been issued.
Do you offer customer pickup?
No. We do not currently offer customer pickup.
Orders may be received through scheduled local delivery within select areas of Hampton Roads or shipping to eligible addresses within Virginia.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes. Scheduled local delivery is available within select areas of Hampton Roads.
A minimum order of $25 is required for local delivery. Delivery fees are based on distance:
Local deliveries are generally made on Sunday or Monday following our Saturday bake. Your delivery date and estimated delivery window will be provided with your order confirmation.
Someone must be available to receive the order unless a safe delivery location has been arranged in advance. If your address is outside our local delivery area, Virginia shipping may be available.
Do you ship cookies?
Yes. Eligible cookie orders may be shipped directly to addresses within Virginia.
We currently do not ship outside Virginia. Shipping is available for personal orders and gifts, not for resale.
Orders are baked on Saturday and generally shipped on the next available carrier business day. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, holidays, or an incorrect delivery address.
Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.
What cookie sizes are available?
We currently offer one cookie size.
Each Rest & Ritual cookie may weigh more than 3 oz after baking, making it substantial enough to feel special while still being easy to enjoy, share, and order for events.
What flavors are available?
Our menu includes Addie’s Originals and a rotating selection of seasonal and limited-time flavors.
Addie’s Originals currently include:
- Peach, Please
- Brown Butter Mood
- Sunday Best Banana Pudding
- Berry Well Rested
Seasonal and limited-time flavors are offered for a designated period and may return based on ingredient availability and customer favorites.
Do your cookies contain allergens?
Yes. Our cookies may contain common allergens, including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.
All cookies are prepared in a home kitchen where these allergens may be used. Although we take care when preparing our products, we cannot guarantee that any item is free from allergen cross-contact.
If you have a food allergy or dietary concern, please contact us before placing your order. We will be happy to provide information about our current recipes and ingredients so you can make an informed decision.
If you have a severe food allergy, we recommend that you do not consume products prepared in our home kitchen.
Can I request ingredient substitutions?
Our recipes are carefully developed for consistency, flavor, and texture. For that reason, substitutions may not be available.
Please contact us before ordering if you have questions about a particular ingredient. An ingredient inquiry does not guarantee that a substitution can be made.
Do you offer custom flavors?
We do not currently offer custom cookie development.
Rest & Ritual offers a thoughtfully curated menu consisting of Addie’s Originals and select seasonal and limited-time flavors.
For larger orders, you may choose from the flavors currently available. Packaging preferences may be accommodated depending on availability, order size, and production schedule.
Can I order cookies for an event or business?
Yes. Cookies may be available for birthdays, showers, weddings, office meetings, real estate events, client gifts, employee appreciation, and other gatherings.
Advance notice is required. Availability depends on the order size, flavor selection, packaging needs, delivery location, and our weekly production schedule.
Please submit an inquiry before placing a large event or business order so we can confirm availability, production timing, and delivery arrangements.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because cookies are prepared specifically for each paid preorder, payments are generally nonrefundable once ingredients have been purchased or production has begun.
If you need to request a change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. Changes, refunds, replacement shipments, and alternative delivery arrangements cannot be guaranteed.
Local delivery fees are nonrefundable after delivery has been completed. Shipping charges are nonrefundable after an order has been accepted by the carrier.
How should I store my cookies?
Keep cookies individually wrapped or stored in an airtight container. For the best flavor and texture, enjoy them within 3–4 days.
For longer storage, freeze the cookies rather than refrigerating them. Storage and reheating instructions are included with each order.
Is Rest & Ritual a storefront bakery?
No. Rest & Ritual Baking is a home-based Virginia cottage food business and an offering of Rest & Ritual Co. LLC.
Our cookies are prepared in a home kitchen and offered through scheduled preorders rather than daily storefront service.
